Cookie Policy
Version 1.1 · Effective May 2, 2026 · Last updated May 2, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Deal Wings uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) when you visit dealwings.co or interact with our email and other notification services. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use personal information generally.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website, used to store and retrieve information about your visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, web beacons, and software development kits.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use cookies that fall into the following categories:
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential to make the Service work. They enable core functionality such as authentication, account session management, and protection against cross-site request forgery. You cannot opt out of these cookies; without them, the Service will not function.
Functional
These cookies and equivalent local-storage entries remember choices you make to provide a better experience, for example, whether you have an existing account, your in-progress onboarding state, or your cookie-consent preferences.
Analytics
We use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used in aggregate, so we can improve performance and design. Specifically, we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure page views, sessions, and general usage patterns. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you individually or to track you across unrelated websites for advertising. We configure Google Analytics in a privacy-protective way: IP addresses are anonymized, Google’s advertising and cross-site signals are disabled, and we strip authentication tokens and similar sensitive values from page URLs before they are sent, so Google does not receive that data. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising / Targeting
We do not currently set advertising or cross-context behavioral-advertising cookies. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some pages of the Service interoperate with third parties; for example, our payment-processor checkout flow may set its own cookies on the pages where it is loaded. Those cookies are controlled by the relevant third party and subject to its privacy policy.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies in a number of ways:
- Google Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Consult your browser’s help documentation for details. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair the Service.
- Opt-out tools. You can opt out of certain third-party advertising cookies at the Digital Advertising Alliance’s WebChoices tool (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out tool (optout.networkadvertising.org).
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post any updates here with a new “Last Updated” date.
